Branson Rocks
A city of music and energy, unrivaled musical acts and dynamic, fun shows – Branson offers a fun getaway that’s not too far from home!

My dad, fellow blogger Dan the Ceo, guides one tour every year. He’s been as far as Egypt and South Africa when he guides. His goal: to continue to see the world and interact with the customers who take our tours; to see how the tour runs from the inside. This year he stayed a little closer to home than in the past – and took on the musical city of Branson!
He’s flying home now and I am blogging on his behalf because I think I got either an email or a voicemail every day he was on the trip saying how wonderful this little American city really is. “The shows are fantastic.” “The travelers love the restaurants and the hotels.” “The pace is great.” All in all – he couldn’t stop talking about what a fun city Branson is, and he was clearly excited by what a good program is set up there – and the positive customer response.
So what’s so great about Branson?
Known as the “Live Music Show Capital of the World,” Branson, Missouri, is one of the most visited destinations in the U.S. Nestled in the majestic Ozark Mountains, more than 50 live performance theaters are peppered throughout the city, while restaurants range from family friendly to world-class dining, and attractions and museums lend a bit of culture.
Silver Dollar City theme park is a favorite for families and the Historic Downtown district offers as much charm as it does shopping! With so many diverse experiences, Collette offers two different tours that feature Branson to indulge your taste: a Branson Musical Getaway and a Branson Music Holiday when the holiday season is in full swing and you can see “Mr. Christmas” himself, Andy Williams!
I, myself, am going to wait until the holiday program begins. I hear this place has a different kind of charm altogether – and is just so festive. Sounds like my kind of city!

Branson is one of the great cities in the Midwest to visit. There’s always something going on any time of the year, and the town is built on family values and activities.
