Collette employees at Tourism Cares event on May 6, 2011
There’s a reason why I believe Collette Vacations has been named to Providence Business News’ 2011 Best Places to Work in Rhode Island for the 5th consecutive year as was announced this week.
It’s the people who work here.
Not to toot my own horn but I think most readers would agree that as a company we are pretty involved in charitable endeavors. Just take a look at our sister blog which chronicles stories from the Collette Foundation. Or this video that shows Collette employees at work at a Tourism Cares event in Mystic, CT.
But there is a lot going on at a local level with the Food Bank and many other organizations.
Here’s a little stat that I found pretty impressive…during the month of April, an amazing 1,822 books were donated by Collette employees during a drive which will benefit the children and libraries of all the Head Start program sites in Pawtucket, Rhode Island!
Way to go!
