Just another day in the travel biz

After working at Collette for a couple of years now, I’ve realized that Halloween is not just another day on the calendar. Halloween is chance for the company to give back to the community, and to its employees.

Each Halloween each department picks a theme and we hold a contest to see which department has the best decorations and overall experience. The winner gets a pizza party, but the real treat is the chance to hand out candy to trick-or-treaters from local elementary schools, and to bring our own children to the office for some Halloween fun.

This year’s big theme was Angry Birds, and I am proud to say that the Marketing Team (my department!) took first place.
