From the Road: The Alpine village of Seefeld

Happy Collette Passengers! This guest post comes from LaVonne Hawking, our guest on a recent depature of Discover Switzerland, Austria and Bavaria.

We started the day with a train ride up the mountain- going in and out of the mountains via tunnels and the scenery was breathtaking.  Upon arrival in Seefeld – we were greeted by our drivers and their horses and carriages.  The ride around the countryside was so relaxing and beautiful (and we were all cozy with heavy blankets and schnapps to take away any chill) .  Seemed as though we were in a fairytale until you saw cars and a golf course and Deb running along side taking videos!

How fun watching our friends preparing the strudel -  the finished product…a 10 for sure!

We had a tour of the barn and grounds – loved the scene painted on the barn.

It was interesting riding back to Innsbruck in the coach and looking at the mountain that we had been on just a few hours earlier.
