Bird Lovers Can Blog Too

Arenal VolcanoYou can call it  green, eco or just spectacular – regardless Costa Rica is an amazing destination.

But don’t take our word for it. I encourage Traveling Well readers to head over to the Delaware Nature Society blog and read about Joe Sebastiani’s trip.

You’ll love his photos and wonderful first-hand account.

Joe, the Society’s Seasonal Programs Team Leader, was kind enough to answerer a few question for TW.

TW: What is your role at the DNS?

JS: I am in charge of all of the seasonal programs for children, families, and adults. This includes one-time programs, adult trips, summer camps, the Nature of Delaware blog, and the Ashland Hawk Watch.

BlueMorphoButterflyTW: Why blog?

JS: The main goal of the blog is to pass on information about Delaware Nature Society field trips and current nature happenings in Delaware.

TW: How familiar are you with group travel?

JS: I have led adult international trips to Trinidad, Cuba, and Costa Rica, plus national trips to Nebraska, the Great Smoky Mountains, Kiptopeke Virginia, and Fallingwater Pennsylvania.

TW: What did you think about Collette Vacations?

JS: This was my first Collette trip, and we all loved it! I have led escorted groups before, so there were no surprises. We would not have seen as much on our own, but we did most of our birding.  I took care of that for my clients that were interested in birds.

TW: Why Costa Rica?

JS: The big draw of Costa Rica was the diversity, from beaches to volcanoes, to abundant wildlife and a good tourism network.

Thanks Joe. We couldn’t ask for a better Collette review.
